New Case, Vaccination Numbers Announced In Calabasas

The LA Department of Public Health shows that Calabasas has a slightly higher vaccination rate as LA County.

CALABASAS, CA — New coronavirus case numbers for Calabasas have been released by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

As of Thursday, Calabasas has seen a total of 1850 cases since the start of the pandemic and 34 deaths, according to the LA County Department of Public Health.

The City of Los Angeles has seen 613,694 cases since the start of the pandemic, and 10,598 deaths.

In Los Angeles County (excluding Long Beach and Pasadena), 1,427,951 total cases have been confirmed, and 25,403 people have died.

In Calabasas, 82.3% of the population 12 or over, or 129,702 people, are vaccinated as of Nov. 4, according to the LA County Department of Public Health.

7,083,418 LA County people, or 80.2% of the county population, have received at least one dose as of Nov. 4. 6,366,404 people, or 72% of the county population, have received both as of Nov. 4.
