CALABASAS, CA — The Calabasas Jolly Trolley was pushed back by a week due to upcoming rains.

The holiday tradition was originally planned for Saturday, but was pushed to Dec. 17, the city of Calabasas announced Thursday. The event is now scheduled to start at 10 a.m. at the Calabasas Civic Center, located at 100 Civic Center Way, and make its way to Grape Arbor Park by 11:15 a.m., located at 5100 Parkville Rd.

Calabasas residents of all ages can take photos with special holiday characters on the trolley at either of the two locations. Santa and his friends are expected make a special Christmas appearance on the trolley.

The first 100 participants will also receive a holiday goodie bag.

Calabasas could see light rains as early as Friday, with a 76 percent chance of rain by Saturday and a high of 58 degrees, according to AccuWeather. Sunday will see a high of 54 degrees with an 80 percent chance of rain. Rains should lighten up by Monday with a high of 55 degrees.
