AT&T Responds To Phone Service Issues In Calabasas

Many Calabasas residents have been experiencing phone service issues after recent flooding caused problems for AT&T.

CALABASAS, CA — Many Calabasas residents have experienced wireless phone service interruptions after recent flooding caused issues in the area for AT&T.

AT&T crews are out in Calabasas working "as quickly and safely as possible" to restore full service and bring cell sites back online. The service interruption is a result of recent flooding and storming in the area, a representative of AT&T said, referring to the rains around Dec. 30 that wreaked havoc in Calabasas, Malibu and Agoura Hills.

Residents around Calabasas Lake have been reporting phone service issues like dropped calls and no service since the storming, according to the city. This area usually gets good service, according to the city.

Neither the city nor AT&T had a time estimate on when phone service would be fully restored.
