Vandal Throws Rock, Shatters Window at Calabasas Home

No suspects have been identified in the random shattering of a window in the Prado Del Misterio neighborhood in Calabasas.

A woman and her two young daughters were in the room when a vandal shattered the window of a Calabasas home earlier this month.

The vandalism was reported at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 4 at a home on Prado Del Misterio near Parkway Calabasas, according to a report from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

The victim was in the upstairs bathroom with her young daughters when she heard a loud "thud" noise from the window, the report states.

"She noticed her bathroom window was shattered by an unknown object," according to the report.

The woman does not have problems with her neighbors and the cost of replacing the window is estimated at $1,500.
