74-Year-Old Arrested In Connection With Fatal South Bay Shooting

SAN JOSÉ, CA — A 74-year-old Central Valley man was arrested in connection with a fatal South Bay shooting last week, authorities said.

Sital Singh Dosanjh was arrested Saturday at his Fresno home on suspicion of homicide and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail, the San José Police Department said.

Officers at around 6:15 p.m. Friday responding to the 5000 block of Almaden Expressway on a report of a person down in a vehicle found a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the city’s 28th reported homicide of this year are under investigation, according to police.

The Fresno Police Department and the Fresno County Gang Task Force assisted local authorities with the investigation and the suspect’s arrest.
