SAN JOSÉ, CA — An electric scooter rider was killed Friday morning in a crash involving a school bus with students on board, San José police said.

The scooter rider was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

San José police are assisting the California Highway Patrol, which investigates collisions involving school buses.
