Campbell Gets Hoppy This Week
Silicon Valley Beer Week and Campbell Beer Walk take place this week.
The brews are being poured this week all over downtown Campbell as the Orchard City participates in the first Silicon Valley Beer Week and the second The Beer Walk Downtown Campbell.
Below are a few of the events residents can look forward to.
Monday, July 29
Liquid Bread Gastropub - Beer Social with Anchor Brewing
This official SV Beer Week event takes place Monday, July 29 from 7-10: p.m. at Liquid Bread Gastropub, 379 E Campbell Ave. and costs $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Beers will be paired with appetizers.
Campbell Brewing Company - Tour, Talk and Taste
The event on Monday, July 29, 7:00 p.m. is a celebration of the kick-off of Silicon Valley Beer Week and includes a brewery tour and seven samples of Campbell Brewing Company beers. Costs $25. Call 408-866-2699 for reservation.
Whole Foods Market Campbell - Drake Brewing Co.
Campbell's Whole Foods Market will be joining the SV Beer Week celebrating, with an in-store tasting of Drake Brewery's on Monday, July 29 from 4-7 p.m.
Tuesday, July 30
Little Lou's BBQ - Baseball, Beer and BBQ
Little Lou's BBQ is hosting an all-you-can-eat ribs ($13.95- all you can eat ribs- beef or pork, 2 side dishes & garlic bread), paired with one of 18 craft brews on tap, featuring Dogfish Head, Allagash and Drakes.
Wednesday, July 31
The second annual Beer Walk Campbell takes place this Wednesday, July 31 from 6-9 p.m. and costs $30 in advance.
This year's event will have 20 breweries pouring at 20 downtown Campbell businesses, including:
- Campbell Furniture Gallery will host 21st Amendment Brewery.
- Ciano's Modern Latin Flavors is hosting Anchor Brewing Company.
- Rocket Fizz Campbell has been paired with Firestone Walker.
- Toys Toys Toys will host Gordon Biersch Brewing Company
- Brown Chicken Brown Cow has been paired with Speakeasy Ales & Lagers
- Khartoum will host Santa Cruz Aleworks
- Cali-Muscle will host local FireHouse Grill & Brewery
- Spread will be hosting Santa Clara Valley Brewing & Hermitage Brewing Company
- The Cruiser Shop will be hosting Strike Brewing Co.
