Fatal 2-Car South Bay Crash Under Investigation

SAN JOSÉ, CA – A woman was killed early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle South Bay crash, authorities said.

Officers at around 6:16 a.m. responded to the area of Pomona and Alma avenues on the report of a two-vehicle crash, San José police said.

The victim was taken to a local area hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

A road closure is in effect until further notice.

This is the South Bay city’s 61st fatal traffic collision of 2022 and the victim is the city's 63rd fatality of this year.
