​Fire Under Control At South San Jose Home Depot

The large plume of smoke from the fire could be seen for miles all around the Santa Clara Valley.

SAN JOSE, CA — Crews battling a massive fire at a Home Depot in South San Jose were able to get it under control at 11:44 p.m. Saturday, according to a tweet from the San Jose Fire Department.

A shelter-in-place order is still in place for residents in the El Lisa Drive area due to heavy smoke from the structure, located on Blossom Hill Road. The blaze started shortly before 6 p.m. and the large plume of smoke from the fire could be seen for miles all around the Santa Clara Valley.

There were no injuries reported in the fire, which is under investigation.
