Fourth of July Fundraiser at Khartoum a Success
The local business was raising funds for the South Bay Blue Star Moms group on Independence Day.
The smile on little Jack Austin's face says it all.
The fundraiser held on July 4th at Khartoum was deemed a success.
In all, the BBQ event raised $1,082 for the South Bay Blue Star Moms, a local support network for families that have loved ones serving in the United States armed forces.
"This is my third event with these ladies and they always bring a great group of people," says Khartoum Manager Kelly Crowley.
