Homicide Suspects Sought After Burglary Call: San Jose Police
SJ officers responded to a burglary on Montecito Drive, found a man who ended up dying at the residence and now seek help locating suspects.
SAN JOSE, CA — Officers who responded Friday to a burglary in progress on the 3200 block of Montecito Drive in San Jose discovered a 84-year-old man suffering from life threatening injuries, the San Jose Police Department reported.
The male victim whose identity is undisclosed died at the residence.
When officers arrived on the scene at 9:30 a.m., they observed a vehicle leaving the area and pursued. The pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. Detectives are working to identify and apprehend the suspects.
This is the city’s 20th homicide of 2019.
