Motorcyclist Killed In South Bay Crash

SAN JOSÉ, CA — A South Bay traffic crash Wednesday afternoon left a motorcyclist dead, San José police said.
The crash at the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Lean Avenue was reported just before 2 p.m., police said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver is cooperating with investigators, according to police.
Santa Teresa Boulevard will closed in both directions between Lean Avenue and Vale Drive until further notice, police said at around 2:35 p.m. Wednesday.

“Nearby surface streets will also be impacted while we conduct this investigation,” police said.
This is San José's 46th fatal traffic collision and the city's 48th traffic-related fatality of 2022.
