The department took to social media on Saturday to use the crash as an example to warn against driving under the influence this holiday season.
"Please remember that drunk or 'buzzed' driving is never okay," the department wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter. "Choose safety this holiday season, designate a sober driver, use ride share services, or stay the night. Let's keep everyone safe so that they can spend this holiday season with loved ones."
