‘Unprovoked’ South Bay Police K-9 Attack Injures 1: Report
Santa Clara police say a K-9 officer bit a woman in the arm near Levi's Stadium. She was reportedly left with puncture wounds.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A South Bay police dog bit a woman in the arm over the weekend in an unprovoked attack as she walked her dog onto a soccer field near Levi’s stadium.
A Santa Clara police spokesman told KTVU the dog was conducting off-leash training with a police officer and that the soccer field was not open to the public. A woman and her dog "unexpectedly entered the facility through the closed and latched gate," police said.
The police dog ran toward them. The woman picked up her dog and hit the police dog in the head. The dog bit her unintentionally in the upper arm, police said.
