Here's our "short list" of happenings this weekend in Campbell.

It's Back-to-School season but before we say goodbye to summer in Campbell, we've still got two weekends to live it up.
Here is our short list of happenings in the Orchard City this weekend. Did we miss something?

Thursday, Aug. 8
Financial planner Andrew Spivey presents a complimentary workshop at the Campbell Library, Thursday, Aug. 8, 4:00 p.m., designed to go over financial planning basics.
The Campbell Summer Concert Series continues Thursday, Aug. 8, 6:30-8:00 p.m. with The Cocktail Monkeys. The event takes place at the Orchard City Green, between the Campbell Library and Campbell City Hall and is free to attend. No pets please.
Saturday, Aug. 10
Downtown Campbell Business Association present 2nd Saturdays in the downtown, Saturday, Aug. 10 from 2-6:00 p.m. Along with live music and art on the streets and deals and bargains in the stores, there will also be face painting with Alison and the return of the Community Canvas.
Second Saturdays with The Cruiser Shop in downtown Campbell invites bike riders to meet up at The Cruiser Shop Saturday, Aug. 10, 6:00 p.m. The group will take off between 6:30-6:45 p.m. and ride through Los Gatos, eventually ending up at Tommy's Bar & Grill for food and drinks.
Play Flag Football Open Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 10, 6:00 p.m. at the Play Flag Football offices located at 545 Westchester Dr. The event is a fundraiser in support of the organization's Guinness World Record Flag Football attempt and youth flag football programs.
Sunday, Aug. 11
Check out the first Annual 5-on-5 Dodgeball Tournament on Sunday, Aug. 11, 11:00 a.m. at the Campbell Community Center located at 1 West Campbell Ave. The event is a fundraiser in support of the organization's Guinness World Record Flag Football attempt and youth flag football programs.
And of course, check out the Downtown Campbell Farmers Market on Sunday, Aug. 11, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
