Suspected Prowler Wanted By Campbell Police

Campbell Police seeks the public's help in finding a man who peeked in a juvenile's bedroom window and fled when confronted by the father.

CAMPBELL, CA — The police department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a prowler who was seen looking in a bedroom window, the authorities reported Wednesday.

The suspect was seen peeking in the bedroom window of a home on Bismarck Drive in Campbell on Sunday at 1:20 a.m. The bedroom was occupied by a juvenile, and the suspect fled after being confronted by the father. The suspect was last seen running on Phoenix Drive toward Hamilton Avenue.

Surveillance video shows the suspect approaching the bedroom window, looking inside and repositioning himself to get a better view. He is described as a male in his 30s with a goatee without a mustache. He was seen wearing a light colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Nearby residents are being asked by police to check their surveillance camera videos for any footage of the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the individual seen in the video is asked to contact the dispatch center at 408-866-2101 or the Investigations Unit at 408-871-5190.
