The Week Ahead: Holiday Spirit at Ainsley House; Gaming at the Library


Starting Thursday and running through Sunday, historical Ainsley House in Downtown Campbell, will have its 15 rooms transformed with the theme of A Silver Bells Holiday.  The entire house will be decorated by local interior designers, house decorators, florists, and volunteers and will feature a special holiday boutique.

Tours will be offered November 14-17, November 21-24, and November 29 - December 19, 12pm-4pm. Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4.50 for youth ages 7-17; admission for children and museum members is free.
Proceeds from the tours as well as sales at the holiday boutique will benefit the non-profit Campbell Historical Museum & Ainsley House Foundation. For more information, please phone the Campbell Historical Museum 408-866-2757.

On Thursday from 4-8 p.m.,  artist John Bruneau will talk about artistic experimentation in video games and how punks, artists, and outsiders of all kinds push the platform to evolve. There will also be gaming available for grades 5-8.
