Video: Do You Recognize These Campbell Bike Thief Suspects?

Campbell Police release video of two suspects that stole several bicycles from a locked Bascom Ave apartment storage room. Do you know them?

CAMPBELL -The Campbell Police Department is looking for two men who stole four bicycles - including a $3000 Ellsworth Epiphany - from a locked storage room on Bascom Avenue.

Police say sometime between Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21, 2016, the two suspects entered the Revere Apartments, 1725 S. Bascom Avenue, and gained entry into a locked storage room full of residents' bicycles by prying open the door.

In the surveillance video, look closely and you can see an early 2000’s model, two-tone Ford truck pull into the parking lot. Two men exit the vehicle.

As one man pries open an exterior door to the complex, police note the other stands watch at the top of the stairs.

Police believe the two appear familiar with the layout of the complex.

Once downstairs, police say both suspects gained entry into the locked storage room by prying open a door. Among the four bikes they stole:

  • A plum and black Ellsworth Epiphany bicycle valued at $3,000
  • A grey men’s Raleigh 29er belt drive valued at $1000.

The first suspect is described as:

  • a Hispanic male, approximately 25-30 years old, 5’8” tall, 150 lbs. with a dark goatee and a tattoo on the back of his neck. He is wearing a beanie in the surveillance video.

The second suspect is described as:

  • a Hispanic or possibly white male, with short dark hair, goatee, approximately 25-30 years old, 5’10” and 200 lbs.
