The video, which has since gone viral, shows the woman emerging from an open door on the truck and then entering the Pink Poodle strip club. Lights are seen flashing on truck, which is parked in front of the of South Bascom Avenue club.

“The Department has become aware of a concerning video posted on social media,” San José Fire Chief Robert Sapien, Jr. said in a statement.

“An investigation has been initiated to determine facts surrounding the video.”

And should the investigation reveal improper behavior, the agency is promising consequences.

“If findings of an internal investigation reveal inappropriate behavior of any Department members, appropriate steps will be taken to address the matter,” the agency said in a statement citing ethical policy guidelines it said all city employees are required to adhere to.

San José Mayor Sam Liccardo took the rhetoric a step further.

“If the investigation concludes that this video is as bad as it looks, then heads must roll,” he said in a statement obtained by The Mercury News.

“We cannot have a life-critical emergency rescue apparatus relegated to a frat party bus, nor tolerate any conduct that so demeans the heroic work of the rest of our SJFD team.”
