West Valley Community Services' annual Dash of Hope USATF-certified 5K and 10K run/walk takes place at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, July 21 at Vasona Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd., in Los Gatos. For the 5K run/walk: ages 12 and under are $35. Ages 13 and over are $40. For the 10K run/walk: ages 12 and under are $40. Ages 13 and over are $45. Kids ages 12 and under are free. Bib and T-shirt pickup on race day, starting at 7:30 a.m. Registration includes T-shirt, bib, chip timing, goodie bag, and post-race refreshments.
