Baby Girl Garcia Spits at Mall Security after Shoplifting

A 43-year-old Santa Cruz woman, legally named Baby Girl Garcia, was the center of attention at the Capitola Mall Wednesday evening.

At 6:47 p.m., Garcia was caught shoplifting in the mall.

When she was confronted by a security guard, she refused to wait for police to arrive, and instead spat on the mall officer, police told Patch.

Garcia, who is known to the Capitola Police Department, legally changed her first name to Baby Girl in recent years, police said.

While it did not appear she was drunk, she proceeded to kick the interior of the cop car doors after her arrest.
