The memorial proceedings for Elizabeth Butler and Butch Baker, the two Santa Cruz police officers killed last week, began March 7 with a processional through the streets of Santa Cruz.

Police Departments from all over the state participated in the processional, which began at 8:45 a.m. and made its way to San Jose for the memorial ceremony.

By the time the procession reached San Jose, thousands patiently waited outside HP Pavilion to share their memories and respect.
