LADWP Working To Repair Westwood, Van Nuys Water Main Ruptures
Utility crews were working Thursday to repair two 8-inch water main that ruptured overnight: one in Westwood, the other in Van Nuys.
LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Dept. of Water & Power utility crews today are working Thursday to repair two 8-inch water mains that ruptured overnight, one in Westwood and the other in the Van Nuys area.
The Westwood break occurred about 2 a.m. at Wilshire and Beverly Glen boulevards, according to the LADWP. It was unknown how many customers were affected.
The Van Nuys break occurred about 1:30 a.m. at Magnolia Boulevard and Ranchito Avenue. About 30 customers were affected, the LADWP reported.

All repairs were expected to be completed by early afternoon, according to the utility.
