Downey Man Killed in Anaheim Crash
He was driving a Toyota Sequoia SUV that crossed the left shoulder and overturned on the transition road from the SB 57 to WB 91

ANAHEIM, CA - A young man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Anaheim Sunday morning.
The victim -- identified by the Orange County coroner's office as Downey resident Jose Rivera -- was driving a Toyota Sequoia SUV that crossed the left shoulder and overturned on the transition road from the southbound Orange (57) Freeway to the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported about 7:35 a.m. but was not witnessed, making it unclear when it occurred, according to the CHP and Orange County coroner's office, which identified the man as Jose Rivera.

Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
No one else was in the vehicle.

The crash closed the transition road until about 10 a.m., according to the CHP.
