Lazy Dog Restaurant In Cerritos Amps Up Menu
The local eatery to launch new menu May 18 with such dishes as street-corn fries, "Spacedust" wings & nostalgic Tang-inspired cocktail.
CERRITOS, CA — The Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar at Los Cerritos Center in Cerritos is rolling out a new menu May 18 with such highlights as street-corn fries, "Spacedust" wings and a childhood-throwback cocktail — the "Tang Margarita" — a drink inspired from NASA's use on the 1962 Mercury flight and subsequent Gemini missions.
The street-corn fries will come topped with melted mozzarella, tajĂn-lime sauce, charred sweet corn, tomatoes, queso blanco and cilantro, according to the restaurant.
The "out-of-this-world" Spacedust Wings are tossed in a spicy combo of orange, Szechuan peppercorn and chile spices. Available for a limited time, the wings are accompanied by such dipping sauces as honey mustard, blue cheese, buffalo, umami, spicy maple, BBQ, Nashville hot ranch, ranch and marinara.
