Man Arrested for Videotaping Others With Cell Phone Inside Cypress College Bathrooms

The suspect has allegedly done this at least 15 other times inside campus bathrooms over the past year.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of using a cellphone to videotape another man in a bathroom stall on the Cypress College campus, a police sergeant said today.

Johnny Nguyen was arrested Tuesday afternoon after the man in the neighboring stall detained him, Cypress police Sgt. Robert Cote said. The incident happened about 3:15 p.m., the sergeant added.

Nguyen allegedly told investigators he had used the cellphone camera to get footage of other men two other times Tuesday and 15 more times over the past year on the campus, Cote said.

Anyone who suspects they may have been a victim was asked to call (714) 229-6631.
