Planned I-5 Closure in Norwalk Canceled
The closure was to have taken place between midnight and 5 a.m. Friday and from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday at Rosecrans Avenue.

A full closure of the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway in the Norwalk-Santa Fe Springs area that had been scheduled for the early morning hours Friday and Saturday has been canceled, Caltrans announced today.
The closure was to have taken place between midnight and 5 a.m. Friday and from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday at Rosecrans Avenue, according to Caltrans.
In lieu of the closures, crews intermittently will close the freeway’s southbound Rosecrans Avenue on-ramp between 11 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday, “to move construction equipment onto the freeway to set falsework beams for the Rosecrans Avenue undercrossing,” Caltrans announced.
