Donations Needed After California Boy Nearly Drowns

REDDING, CA -- A fundraising effort is underway Tuesday for a California family after their son nearly drowned in a pool. Loved ones wrote on GoFundMe that Nixon Trudeau is currently in intensive care following the terrifying incident.
The incident happened last Saturday afternoon when Nixon was found in the family pool, the GoFundMe page said.
"He was flown to UC Davis that evening and is currently in PICU," the GoFundMe page said. "Recovery will be long and hard if he can fight through this initial stage. They need miracles to happen for his recovery to begin."

Loved ones asked the public for donations to help the family during this difficult time.
Parents "Bryan and Lindsay seem to know people everywhere, they have friends of all types in all cities and in all corners," the fundraising page said. "This speaks to the love and friendship they have shared with all of us - they need us to rally for them right now so they can focus on loving Nixon and Preslee and each other with one less worry."
