Public's help sought in finding missing 79-year-old Chula Vista man (10news.com) — Chula Vista police are urgently searching for 79-year-old Remigio Suguitan, last seen Wednesday afternoon walking near East J Street by Halecrest Elementary and living nearby on Vista Way and I Street. Two Individuals Found Deceased from Gunshot Wounds in Chula Vista Apartment (crimevoice.com) — Two young adults were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside a Chula Vista apartment at Kingwood Manor early Tuesday after a neighbor reported a disturbance and a gunshot. Police recovered a firearm, say no suspects are outstanding, and are still investigating, asking anyone with information to contact San Diego County Crime Stoppers.

The report compares C-section rates, newborn complications, breastfeeding support, and more across 901 hospitals nationwide. Several other San Diego-area facilities also earn top marks for uncomplicated births.

Christian hopes to put ‘finishing touches' on comeback season (sandiegouniontribune.com) — Christian High’s remarkable football turnaround included winning the CIF Division 3 title at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, where players drenched their coach after a 28-14 championship victory.
