Child Porn Arrest: Mom Texted Photo of 8-Year-Old Daughter to Wrong Number
The response to her text was disturbing.

The FBI arrested Citrus Heights man Jason Wymer this week for possession of child pornography, according to News 10. The arrest came after Wymer, who lives with his girlfriend and her young daughter, responded to a text message that was sent to him accidentally.
According to News 10, "The complaint said the FBI was tipped off about Wymer after a mother reported she accidentally texted him. The mom said she tried to send a cell phone picture of her 8-year-old daughter to her older daughter. In the photo, the 8-year-old girl was fully clothed and standing next to a candy display. The mom misdialed her daughter's number and ended up sending the photo to Wymer's phone."
When police investigated Wymer, they found that he was in possession of child pornography. Watch the video above for details.

The FBI would not comment on the investigation, which is ongoing. We currently know very little about the details of this case, but OpposingViews.com shared these statistics in their report about Wymer's arrest.
30 to 80 percent of individuals who view child pornography and 76 percent of individuals who have been arrested for internet child pornography have molested a child, according to the Mayo Clinic. 17.3 million images and videos of suspected child porn were reported by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in 2011.
