Have you spotted the goats in Citrus Heights lately?
An El Dorado company was hired this month by the Sunrise Park and Recreation District to eat some of the vegetation that could cause fires, according to the Sacramento Bee.
The goats are currently grazing in the Stock Ranch Nature Preserve bordering Van Maren Park in Citrus Heights. They'll be there the rest of the week, the Bee reports.
In nearby Roseville, the city has used goats are fire prevention in open spaces for the last few years.
