Got a Question for Your Congressman? Ask This Weekend

Local residents will have a chance to get up close and personal with their newly elected congressman this weekend.

Rep. Ami Bera (D-Elk Grove) will hold a pair of "Congress on your Corner" events on Saturday and Sunday in Rancho Murieta and Rosemont.

The first event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rancho Murieta Country Club, 7000 Alameda Dr. The second event will be held from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Golden Pond Retirement Community in Rosemont, 3415 Mayhew Road.

“'Congress on your Corners' are open to the public and offer constituents the opportunity to share their thoughts with Congressman Bera and his staff about legislation in Congress and happenings in their community," Bera's office said in a press release. "Constituents can also seek assistance with any issues they may be having with a federal agency."
