Police Investigate Thefts at Roseville/Citrus Heights Border
Two males were taken into custody Wednesday morning in Roseville and may be linked to recent thefts and vehicle burglaries near the Roseville and Citrus Heights border.

If you live in the south Cirby neighborhood near Oakmont High School or in nearby Citrus Heights, Roseville Police want to know if you've been victim of a theft or vehicle burglary recently.
Two suspects were taken into custody Wednesday morning who may be linked to recent neighborhood thefts, according to Roseville Police.
At 7:50 a.m. a resident called to report suspicious people in the 1700 block of Chelsea Way — two males in their 20s, one scratched up as if he'd gone over a fence. One was carrying a backpack, and both looked like they'd been running, according to Roseville Police.

Both suspects were eventually located and taken into custody on Daisy Court, both with outstanding warrants.
Officers found a backpack that one of the suspects was carrying and it contains suspected stolen property.

Anyone in the south Cirby or nearby Citrus Heights neighborhood who has been the victim of a theft or vehicle burglary Wednesday morning, July 17, is asked to call Roseville Police at 916-774-5000, extension 1.
