County Fire Fighters Helped Knocked Down Apartment Blaze

Los Angeles County firefighters assisted the La Verne fire department Tuesday morning in a battle to knock down a fire inside an apartment building in La Verne.

The blaze inside a two-story duplex apartment building at 3014 Winfield Avenue was reported at 2:40 a.m., according to L.A. County fire Dispatch Supervisor Rey Dong.

County firefighters were sent to the location after La Verne’s Fire Department requested support, Dong said.

No injuries were reported.
