LA VERNE, CA — Now that Christmas is over, some La Vernes residents might be wondering what to do with the tree in their living room taking up space.

The city will pick up Christmas trees for free every Monday until Jan. 10.

Residents can have their trees collected for recycling by placing them on the curb. Christmas trees must be free of any tinsel, ornaments, lights and stands, city officials said.
