Meals On Wheels Seeking Volunteers In La Verne

"Help deliver meals to residents on one of five routes around the La Verne and San Dimas area!" the City of La Verne posted to social media.

LA VERNE, CA — If you're looking for ways to give back this Thanksgiving season, the La Verne/San Dimas Meals on Wheel could use your help.

The organization is dedicated to delivering healthy and homemade meals to homebound residents and is currently looking for extra volunteers to continue helping them carry out its mission, according to the City of La Verne.

"Help deliver meals to residents on one of five routes around the La Verne and San Dimas area!" the city posted Monday on its official Facebook page.

According to the city, volunteers only need to spend about 1.5 hours a week driving meals to local residents.

"Bring a friend or family member along with you too!" the city posted.
