Pooch Park To Temporarily Close For Maintenance
The biannual maintenance of the Claremont park includes aerating the turf, flushing dog urine and removing invasive weeds.

CLAREMONT, CA — Claremont dog owners who frequent Pooch Park will have to take their four-legged friend elsewhere beginning Monday as the park will be closed for maintenance.
The park will be closed until Dec. 1 for its “biannual turf maintenance and resting period,” city officials said. The park’s turf will be aerated, flush of dog urine and have invasive weeds removed.
A resting period will follow after the maintenance work before it can be reopened to the public.
