A Winter Wonderland Comes To La Verne This Weekend

Children will get the chance to play in real snow this weekend as part of La Verne's 22nd annual Winter Wonderland.

LA VERNE, CA — Some much-needed holiday cheer will come to La Verne Saturday when the city's 22nd annual Winter Wonderland event returns to Heritage Park.

Children will get the chance to play in real snow as part of the event and pay a visit to Santa Claus. The Winter Wonderland will feature three 60-foot snow runs and two 30 by 30 feet snow playlands, city officials said.

Adults can also get a start on Christmas shopping during the event as 30 local craft vendors will offer "a wide array of items" for sale, according to officials.

The Winter Wonderland will go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Presale tickets cost $12 per child and $15 per child on the day of the event.
