Woman's Death in Metrolink Accident in Claremont Ruled Suicide
The woman died at the scene when she walked in front of the Los Angeles-bound train.

CLAREMONT, CA - The death of the woman killed when she was struck by a Metrolink train Tuesday was ruled a suicide, the coroner reported Wednesday.
The woman walked in front of the Los Angeles-bound train at around 8:50 a.m. at the Cambridge Avenue crossing. The safety gates and signals were working properly at the time of the accident, according to the Claremont Police Department.
Deashanique Miller, 24, whose home town was not known died at the scene, L.A. coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said. An autopsy showed she died of blunt force trauma and ruled as a suicide, he said.

There were no injuries reported for the 175 passengers on board. The train was stopped for more than a hour before it was cleared to go.
