3 Arrested In Brentwood Bank Robbery: Police

BREAKING: About three hours after the robbery, officers located the alleged getaway vehicle and detained all three suspects.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Three people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a downtown Brentwood bank Thursday afternoon, police said. Donte Davis, 35, of Clearlake, Eddie Starks, 29, Pittsburg, and Maquetta Sanders, 39, of Antioch were all arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and conspiracy. Starks and Sanders were also arrested on suspicion of being accessories to the crime.

According to police, Davis is the suspect who entered the Bank of Agriculture and Commerce Community Bank at 740 First St. at 12:57 p.m. Once inside, Davis allegedly pulled a gun, demanded cash and fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Using surveillance video and witness statements, officers were able to confirm that the two additional suspects were involved.

About three hours after the robbery, officers located the alleged getaway vehicle and detained all three suspects. Officers were also able to recover the stolen money.
