BART Police Catch Alleged Bicycle Thief In Act
BREAKING: The suspect in the alleged theft from the Concord station was found in possession of burglary tools, BART police say.

CONCORD, CA — A man was arrested Saturday after he was allegedly caught trying to steal a bicycle at the Concord BART station. At 12:40 p.m., 27-year-old Byron Edwards of Concord was seen cutting the lock off of a bike inside the station, BART police said.
Police detained Edwards, who was on probation. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possessing burglary tools and violating his probation, police said.
Edwards was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.
