City Of Concord CERT Training Returns This July
Interested in serving on the Community Emergency Response Team? Register now for the next CERT course to be held three weekends in July.

CONCORD, CA — Concord’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is hosting a basic CERT course over three weekends this July at the Concord Police Department, 1350 Galindo Street. The four-hour class series will be held July 15 & 16, July 22 & 23 and July 29 & 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

The course will cover subjects such as personal and home preparedness for all-hazard emergencies, radio communications, utility, hazardous materials and fire safety, disaster medical response, and pet preparedness. The class held on July 30 will be a 4-hour skills exercise.
Participants must attend all classes, including the exercise, to graduate. Upon completion of the program, graduates receive a special safety kit that includes a backpack, vest, hard hat, flashlight, and other safety equipment.
