CONCORD, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your mom extra special?
What makes my mom so special is she never fails to make us happy. She is always putting everyone before herself and is the most hardworking and determined woman I know. She sometimes works 7 days a week but still always manages to have time for her three kids!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
I feel my mom deserves this spotlight because she is the most hard-working woman I know. She deserves all the resignation in the world!
