Concord City Council is seeking applicants for an open seat on Contra Costa Transportation Authority's Citizens Advisory Committee.

CONCORD, CA — The Concord City Council announced a recruitment Tuesday for the City of Concord’s representative on the Contra Costa Transportation Authority — Citizens Advisory Committee.

The CAC is comprised of 23 members: 20 are appointed by each of the 20 local jurisdictions within Contra Costa County (the cities, towns, and the County), and three “at-large” members appointed by CCTA who shall reflect community and business organizations and interests within Contra Costa County (for example, a Contra Costa resident interested in bicycling issues, or a resident with environmental concerns). Members shall not serve in a representative capacity with respect to their appointing authorities (in this case, CCTA) or any specific organization.
