Fire Destroys Contra Costa Co. Home, Damages Another
BREAKING: Crews responded to the Bay Point structure fire at 10:39 a.m., a Contra Costa County fire official said.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Firefighters knocked down a residential structure fire that destroyed a modular home and damaged a second one in the Bay Point area of unincorporated Contra Costa County Tuesday morning. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District crews responded to the fire in the 900 block of Dobrich Circle at 10:39 a.m., according to Fire Inspector Steve Aubert.
The fire was extinguished by 11:18 a.m. No injuries were reported, but the first structure was engulfed in
flames.
"That's going to be a total loss," Aubert said.

Another home was damaged, but the extent of that damage is still being assessed.
