Man Accused In Concord Sexual Assault May Have Victimized Others: Cops
Detectives believe a man accused in a Christmas Day incident in Concord may have sexually assaulted other women, too.

CONCORD, CA — The Concord Police Department asked for the community’s assistance following the arrest of a man on Christmas Day on suspicion of an incident involving sexual assault and attempted kidnapping.
According to police, in the early afternoon of Dec. 25, a woman was walking on Wilson Lane near Diandra Drive when a man approached her and offered her food. When she refused, he grabbed her, sexually assaulted her and tried to kidnap her, police said.
The woman fought the man off and he drove away in a white 2001 Chevrolet Blazer. Concord police got a license plate number for the suspect’s car, which led to his arrest on Christmas evening.

"We believe there may be additional victims in the community who have not reported to the police. Other law enforcement agencies in the area have been notified of the case. However, we encourage anyone who may have been victimized or had any contact with the suspect to please contact CPD Detectives."
