Missing Man's Car Found Abandoned In Concord: Police

The 19-year-old from Pittsburg has not been seen by his family since Sunday, according to Concord police.

CONCORD, CA — The Concord Police Department asked for the public's help Wednesday in finding a man reported missing by his family on New Year's Day.

Damond Lazenby Jr.'s car was found abandoned during the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 1 near the state Highway 4 overpass on Port Chicago Highway in Concord.

Lazenby, who is 19 years old, is a Pittsburg resident and has not been seen or heard from since the night of his disappearance, Concord police said.

Lazenby is described as a 6-foot-4-inch, 170-pound Black man with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray and black sweatpants.

"Anyone who sees Mr. Lazenby Jr. or knows of his whereabouts should contact the Concord Police Department at 925-671-3333," police said Wednesday in a social media post. "Please be prepared to provide his current location and clothing description."
