• Concord man charged with murdering parents on New Year's Eve (contracostaherald.com) — Concord police have arrested 61-year-old Kirk Laroy Richardson, who is charged with murdering his parents after officers found two people fatally shot at a Walnut Avenue home on New Year’s Eve. Prosecutors have filed two murder counts with firearm enhancements, and Richardson remains jailed on $4 million bail with additional court dates set in Martinez.
