These 2 Cars Seen Near Fatal Contra Costa Co. Shooting: Sheriff
BREAKING: Authorities are seeking the drivers of a Mitsubishi Eclipse and a Ford Mustang in a shooting that left a Discovery Bay man dead.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Contra Costa County sheriff's officials have released images of two vehicles believed to be involved in a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the unincorporated community of Discovery Bay. One of the vehicles is a red Mitsubishi Eclipse with a spoiler and loud exhaust and possibly a sunroof. The other vehicle is a matte gray Ford Mustang, possibly from 2008, with dark-colored rims, sheriff's officials said.
On Sunday at 12:43 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting. They found 48-year-old Discovery Bay resident Bradley MacHugh in the street of the 1700 block of Wilde Drive. He was unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, sheriff's officials said.
Despite attempts to save his life, MacHugh was later pronounced dead.

Sheriff's officials said that MacHugh and the occupants of the two vehicles got into a verbal altercation over reckless driving. The conflict became physical and MacHugh was shot.
The occupants in both cars were described as male, and one was female, and they were either Hispanic or Asian, sheriff's officials said.
