5 things Coronado residents should know Tuesday.
1. Rock climbing at the Coronado Community Center every Tuesday-Thursday from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday from 12-4 p.m.
2. Tuesday is Bridge Day at the Coronado Senior Center, which is open from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

3. Hotel del Coronado tours are provided every Tuesday and Friday starting at 10 a.m. $15 for the 90-minute tour. Reservations required. Call 619-437-8788
4. In weather, temperatures are forecast to stay in the 60s through Friday with winds of 5-10 mph. You may want to swim near a lifeguard the next few days: a high surf advisory is in effect from early Tuesday to 2 p.m. Wednesday.

South facing beaches may see waves five to eight feet tall. A beach hazard statement has been issued from 2 p.m. Wednesday to 9 p.m. Thursday. Expect strong rip currents.
5. Installation of new sewer line that has kept construction crews busy on 7th Street is scheduled to be completed Tuesday, according to City Manager Blair King's weekly update.
